** I own this fucking rights of this drawing
My script is not being presented.
Anyway I'm glad that I wrote my own script for the very first time.
I've never done TVC and not even a photo-shooting.
Yes, kinda embarrassing cuz as an Art Director,
I've never been to photo-shooting.
I can explain why, last time when I was at *P,
I was just a tool to execute visuals.
When there's one time I got the chance to go shooting,
I was called to stay back as no one was backing up in the office.
Then when I joined *B,
the account I was handling changed their CI to vector style.
However I'm sure that I'll be learning a lot from my current company.
When my designer needs my advice, I just judged base on my sense,
not my experience.
And for my script, I couldn't find a writer to write for me.
Therefore I wrote it myself and get people to check my grammar.
Not brilliant but I'd tried my best.
Initially I just joined for fun
(thought of the story a day before creative review),
sharing my story to the Creative Director.
Couldn't believe that he short-listed mine
with another 7/8 potential scripts from others.
I had a doubt when he picked mine cuz it's kinda controversial.
Basically it's about a life of a lesbian,
so I don't expect them to present it to the big client.
Congrats to those who got picked to present to client.
Through this task, I've learnt that writing is fun.
I've always wanted to write but I know my limit.
Now I just hoping that one day my script could become a short film?
What I had edited to my script is kinda commercial,
just to suit the audiences.
Short film would be more appropriate, I guess?
Anyway, this is a good experience.
Through this task I also learned that people can be really 'kiasu'.
Please learn to be 'kiasu' in a better way,
don't be so obvious that it shows all over your face.
I'll never give up writing. I'll give another shot in future.
God bless to this art-based writer :p (my writing sucks, i know!)
